The Reading Tray is a social enterprise on a mission to make childhood literacy joyful, meaningful, and accessible.
We believe every child deserves the right to own a book — not just borrow one — and that reading should feel like an adventure, not a chore. For the 400,000+ children in the UK who have no books at home, the gap is not just in access, but in opportunity. We exist to change that.
Our stories are crafted to educate, empower, and excite. We bring literacy to life in a way that’s relatable, inclusive, and lasting — by making storytelling part of everyday life for children from all backgrounds.

How We Do It

What We Do
